Please the avic-f900bt works fine with my car.... but the only problem i have is that my country map Nigeria.... is not installed.... what seems to be the problem.... thank you..... any suggestions

@PioneerMobile we speak english in Australia yet it was disabled here as well. which is a shame as other manufacturers had this option on cheaper units that shouldnt compare to the 900bt

one question i need to ask...
why in europe pioneer decided not to activate voice recognition ?
is it difficult to put other language recognise in this unit ?
anyway it's not a bad unit, but what's a little bad is that the user "pioneer mobile" don't answer....so...
One other thing to add, it's funny to see that pioneer starts faster if you connect ipod...if no ipod, it's a little bit longer...i didn't think to try before like that...

Due to the various languages in Europe it was difficult to offer a reliable voice recognition engine that supported all the languages, where as English, Spanish and French were much simpler to offer for the North American market. Hope this helps and thank you for the question.

Pioneer, good job on replying. It shows a lot about your company that you're tackling these complaints heads-on.
However, your boot time is still atrocious. I have a $300 netbook running Windows that can boot and play music faster than that. I'll be sticking with my DEH-860MP until you get your boot-to-music time down to 10 seconds or less.

AM/FM/HD Radio/Sat. Radio/CD should all begin playing within 9 to 12 seconds. We used iPod to illustrate the most extreme case. Thank you for your feedback.
