  • what gropu do u train with?cdo?

  • I am no longer affiliated with any group. I am not a strong believer in the Group dynamics that has developed in Capoeira circles.

As a wise man once told me: 'everybody takes care of their group, but nobody cares about Capoeira anymore'.

  • Ido, I've been working on this movement for 6 months now, starting with the beginner variations and rotations into low bridge. I questioned whether this move was attainable for me, because it looks very difficult, but I trained consistently and today I got the full QDR circles going! You've done an amazing job of breaking hard moves down into pieces that build upon one another. That's a skill I've found rare in capoeira circles. I consider myself lucky to have found you. Thanks again!!

  • So very true. Too many steroids and overinflated machismo, I think at least partly due to the possibility many want Capoeira to be like MMA plus acrobatics, thus leaching out the soul of the game. Capoeristas don't need to be MMA fighters or necessarily amazing acrobats....or 'roided-up bodybuilders. I can't wait for the personality crisis of capoeira to end.

  • how many "reps" should be drilled without overdoing it and causing inflammatory problems in those wrists?

  • Great stuff!!

  • Strangely, I find variation 4 the easiest of the lot! The technique itself is very easy actually. 1-3 require greater strength and balance to hold a more static posture.

  • Again-great stuff..my brother is in capoeira..I am in strengh training, mma and fitness in general Like your work Greetings from Croatia

  • why nobody has ever done this.thank u. it's great what u r doing. awesome, legendary ;)
