I'D RATHER HAVE JESUS by THE CRABB FAMILY with lyrics

Mark 8:36, For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? This bible verse is my inspiration in making this particular video. Performed by the five Crabb siblings (but I guess its mostly Jasons voice) this is the most emotional rendition of the song that Ive heard. Originally, this was a poem written by Rhea Miller but George Beverly Shea (who was moved by words) sat down at the piano and made a tune. Thus, a new direction in his life had started. With all the opportunity for corruption that surrounds us just to get what we want and be on the top of this world, there is a high probability that we will be enticed to sin. To avoid that lets fixed our attention to Jesus and His teachings instead.

This is a very moving song for me and brought tears to my eyes and warmth to my heart. Just what I needed reminding of at this time in my life.I am so thankful and blessed to have Him in my life and so grateful for all my many blessings. I believe I have overcome the stumbling blocks and am on stepping stones! Thank You Lord for both and carrying me through when I needed You to.
