Pick up those old aged tins.

I agree with you 100%. Not only do our tastes change, but so does the tobacco. I don't really want to call it ageing, because you can age a tin for a couple of years (or get an old one like I seem to do when I order macbaren online) and it still might be bland/harsh/whatever. Jarring the blend for a couple of months really lets the tobacco breathe and the flavors really change dramatically, mostly for the better. Excellent video and suggestion. Thanks for bringing this to light.

Excellent video topic. That pipe is amazing!! And I really enjoy Frog Morton's blends!
Very interesting.topic........also, for us here in the UK, SG Commonwealth Mixture or Balkan Flake have much more latakia in them compared to most of the popular 'english' latakia blends available here...but I like it very much ....the Commonwealth seems to me a bit like Peter Stokkebeye 'Proper English' ..this is going to make me go back a maybe try a couple of blends again ;-)
