So we left Granada and made our way to Malaga. We found our way to our hostel in the old part of the city, around the corner from the birthplace of Picasso. The hostel was a run down apartment with only one other guest, which was cosy. Down the street from the hostel we stumbled upon the Alcazaba of Malaga, which is a large palace/fortress complex built by the Moors, which was much cheaper and less crowded than the Alhambra, and in our opinion, a much more worthwhile destination.
