Nice one I'm actually quite impressed with this as I have been thinking about using physics based animation in my next video game project.
Although some people have faulted the apperance of the spiders walk, and yes I agree thats not too grand. But I noticed how the legs precisely collided with the top of the log when the spider walked over it. I also like how they reacted when they collided with the blocks and ball.

Very unrealistic actually. And i am not talking about 6 legs :)), but animation itself is very unrealistic, you used some very very simplified robot-looking walking cycle. Here's nice article i found about spider walking cycle if anyone interested.

The joints are very jerky with PhysX. I just built my first car with 6dof joints in/for shockwave and it's really disappointing. I think I'm better off using raycasting to simulate suspension and animate the wheels. It's very disenchanting.
