This game sounds like a car-alarm when it introduces each level.

I remember playing this game in the Arcades with the rotating ball control. Classic 80's!! Right up there with Asteroids and Pac Man.

@Polaf3456 I'm sure if you think that, everyone must think you are a real genius.
Seriously, nobody takes you seriously if you can't use proper grammar.

You cannot win Missile Command. It's a statement about the futility of nuclear war and the creator had nightmares about his own game for a long time.

I miss the little mushroom cloud animation on the 2600 version when your city gets exploded

@dogeymon83 they did, on the Atari Jaguar!

AVGN did not have kind words for the Atari 5200 track ball.

@TenguGuy I'm 14, and there are 20 year-olds typing like it's their first time.

I wish they'd remake Missile Command on a 64-bit console. :(

Yeah just a random heads up Mark (that I'm sure you wont see anyway) most of these exact same games are indeed available as Atari 400/800 (etc.) carts.
And BTW, if you ever actually do get around to 'tracking' down that track-ball... make sure to swap the cue-ball out for an 8-ball or 9-ball, like I did back in the day. ;)

If you were born in 1978 then you seriously need to learn how to type. I'm 13 and look at me.
Just sayin'.

The old games just get faster and harder until you die, just like life.
