Moving On

This is my song for the week "Moving On", a song about how we're past Vista and moving onto Windows 7 involving some of the facts journos asked about at the Windows 7 launch today.

The music was done in one take which explains why I'm sort of here and there.

And sadly no, I am not authorised to give you the 6 minutes of your life back. But let's face it, you were going to waste it on some other YouTube video so at least you at least learned something in the process. Or not.

I don't know about it from a gaming perspective, but even with a fast computer I found Vista was somewhat of a drag. I will say that now you can get inexpensive lappies with a lot of power (that still ran Vista badly), those lappies will now become excellent Windows 7 machines.

I've been on the final Windows 7 Ultimate build (RTM) for a while now and while it has some bugs, it's an excellent OS.

They're also working on Windows 9 at the moment too, but have you tried Windows 7? Tried Vista? I'm using XP and Mac OSX on some of my machines and I prefer Windows 7 to both.

i have tried 64 bit windows 7 RC and yes it does nothing for me and my preferences... it may be a bit more snappy, but with a fast pc, you'll barely notice the speed from windows 7 from vista. vista is getting DX11 and since im a gamer, thats all i need to make sure...
