@hammerhorrorsmith Very cool. But then again Roger's idea of 'cool' has never really progressed or matured beyond that. Hence Tenement Funster, Fun It, lyrics like 'the temperature's down and the jukebox blowin' no fuse' and 'School-SHOVE IT' and songs supposed to be relevant in the 21st century with titles like 'Surf's Up...School's Out'.
This however is a good song and one of the admittedly rare moments when Roger really has his finger on the pulse.

@ilgiarno Sì, tutti e quattro assieme, all'epoca, erano davvero il top: uniti, compensavano i difetti di ogni singolo membro, mentre quadruplicavano i pregi. Già in Made In Heaven, invece, è musicalmente evidente come qualcuno non ci fosse più. Opinione personale, ovvio. Tutto il rispetto possibile per May, Taylor e soprattutto Deacon.

@siropik sono strasicuro che le canzoni che dici, se le avessero allora arrangiate i Queen sarebbero state molto migliori anche di come sono state riarrangiate a posteriori in Made In Heaven.. ;-)

@ilgiarno Non sono d'accordo. Le versioni delle canzoni presenti nell'album Made In Heaven sono troppo ampollose e ridondanti. Concordo quando affermi, tra le righe, che l'album Mr. Bad Guy è figlio del suo tempo e che, quindi, soffra di un arrangiamento davvero modesto, ma la vivacità disco di I Was Born To Love è decisamente trascinante. Haven For Everyone, nella versione dei The Cross con alla voce Freddie Mercury, è molto più semplice e fresca di quella presente nell'album Made In Heaven.

Se ne leggono di boiate.. è un discorso stupido paragonare le due versioni di Heaven for everyone, non cambia solo la voce del cantante, cambia tutto l'arrangiamento, e quello dei Queen ovviamente è immenso! Allora prendiamo anche "i was born to love you" e "made in heaven" le versioni originali di Freddie solista erano ben poca (pochissima) cosa in confronto a quelle riarrangiate come Queen. Dimostrazione che i Queen erano in 4, non solo il (pur grandissimo) Freddie.
