That was exactly the same for me.

I mean, JROCK, especially Visual Kei, the dudes are far, far more girlier than KPOP singers. See Hizaki or Mana, they play guitars while using a DRESS. So, when I first watched a kpop video (TVXQ!) I could tell from the very beginning that they were all dudes.

This doesn't mean I don't like western guys too, I am a western girl and with all my exposure to asian culture and mine own throught the years, I find very easy to appreciate both.

That about Jaejoong is soooo right. I got me an Jaejoong poster(*Q*), and then my mom was like; "I thought you were only listening til boybands." And when I was like "I DO! And Jaejoong is and man!!! Jaejoong is an handsome masculine 27 years old guy. HE is so famous in almost all over Asia!!! ):" and when he was like "How can you make sure he is a guy." and was totally like =-=....

I tottally get Martine cuz the first time I was exposed to kpop i thought all korean guys looked like girl n that maybe they were homosexuals but later i found out that was not the case n i liked them but when i showed them to my friends they just looked at me like i was a wierdo, oh well guess not eveyone is open minded lol

I love Kpop, but I still don't understand the whole flower boy image. You know it's too much when the kpop guys look more feminine than the girls.

the SHINy suits thing sounds cool~ when i was getting into kpop i was like theyre all so hawwt and handsome!! the "girly" thing never crossed my mind but then there were cases like say Heechul.. or Taemin... or Sungjong that i really needed to look twice confused cuz they really looked like girls to me.
