Expensive look up 499 veneers

Or maybe they weren't simply brainwashed by the nice ads but actually went through the process themselves!
Anyway, the pain in veneers is caused by having your teeth driled which, you're right, doesn't in most cases supposedly need to be done with lumineers. However, that implies that in some (maybe many [adverts are rarely straightforwardly honest]) cases it is necessary; also, the pain that the person below mentions seems partly to be caused by the chemicals.

can lumineers been applied to two front teeth that have had surface damage (erosion) from teeth grinding due to enormous amount of stress i WAS going thru? and i also grinded off the point to one of my eye teeth.

There is drilling and a little pain. I have lumineers! It only took 4 months to apply them. It was supposed to only take a month. I have had them on for 1 month and one has popped off already. Not fun. The chemicals they used on my teeth, remove skin from inside my mouth. They said that's normal. They had to do it again and the second time I broke out in blisters as well as the skin coming off. They ordered some mouth wash, which helped. I do not recommend these lumineers!!!

The procedure you are describing is kinda of. Lumineers are an alternative to aggressive veneer preparations, which require tooth removal. It is a minimally invasive technique. The same chemicals are used in both procedures, it is up to the dental professional to know the technique and the proper use of the chemicals. The procedure has been used for over 20 years. If what you are describing wold be normal, nobody would be doing that procedure.
