  • can u plz make a tut on pause menu ????

  • @superroblox Yes, planning to this week.

  • Really slow for a simple concept, and no explanation of how Yield itself works.

  • @simonjester2424 hey great! thanks for the encouragement ;( will cover co-routines separately.

  • @willgoldstone Sorry if I sounded a bit snarky, I've been powering through Unity official and 3rd party documentation and frustrated with how many of the tutorials are done. I'm a CS major who's about to graduate and looking at things mostly from a programming point of view and looking for more depth.

I'm probably not the intended audience and I'm glad you're making these videos.

  • @simonjester2424 cool man yeah this stuff is aimed at beginners - appreciate you writing back.

  • OMG THanks you so much this tutorial really helped!

  • Seriously man, these videos are saving my life. Currently working on my honours project for university using Unity, and apart from these videos there's almost NO decent material out there!

One suggestion/query though, some sort of list/archive for these videos so that they were easier to search/browse through rather than using the (awful) youtube interface would be awesome! Does/could such a thing exist?

  • Ty so much

  • @willgoldstone THX SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @NorwegianStudios Yes, totally. Use floating point numbers all you want.

  • I had exactly the same problem as psykojello. Thanks much willgoldstone!

  • Thanks Will,

I've been pulling my hair out trying to understand how yield works. This example makes perfect sense.

I forgot that the update function was still being called every frame after I called yield WaitForSeconds.
