  • This is superb !! I have bought a length of continuous zip and loads of sliders to recover my caravan cushions. Can I put the bl**dy sliders on ??? Hahaha I can now !! Spent about 3 hours last night fiddling with the damn thing and achieved nothing - it's a doddle now I've watched your video - you are a genius xxxxxxxxxxx

  • Great! I'm glad I've helped you..

  • Thanks for the vid. Can anyone tell me how to attach a second slider so that they sit back to back. This formation means that if both sliders meet in the middle of the zip, then the two ends are open; if the sliders are at the ends then the zip is closed.

  • Hi

I have tried to do this myself - I have put two sliders on but the close the zip as they go towards the middle and open as they are pulled towards the end. I achieved this by putting a slider on at each end.

Sorry I can't be of any more help.

  • diving suit slider broke in pieces; the sliper is plastic and big where do u get sliders that big??

  • Hi

You'll need a specialist for this product - Maybe a search on the net for a zip manufacturer. Sorry I can't help any more.

  • Very useful video. Many thanks. I also struggled to fit the other slider the other way so the zip is closed with the sliders at the ends. The same method does work but I found it necessary to melt the cut edge of the cloth on the short side with a lighter to stop it fraying. Then when the zip is forced as far as possible into the back of the slider, the first tooth on the short side can be opened with a needle. It doesn't take much effort or skill, but it works a treat.

  • Thank you soooo much. I pulled the slider clean off my continuous zipper and I thought I was a screwed. This was EXTREMELY helpful!

  • :D you saved me!!!!!!!1

  • oh thank you british man! :) <3

  • Thank you so much. A piece of cake now I have watched your video.

  • Thank you!!

  • This video really helped me fix my pencil case thank you very much!!!!!!! Without this video I would of never been able to fix it, even if the zipper is backwards but that's ok, as long as it is fixed I don't care which way it's pointed. Thank you!!!!!!

  • thank you soo much, been trying to do that for HOURS!!!
