Our experience with Melia Azul was quite different! We bought in 2010 from Robert Madhosingh and everything represented to us came true. We traveled to Spain that year and stayed in 3 separate Melia's (mas) We just returned from a week at Azul and had a marvelous time and plan to visit this fall for another week (or two).

I Just Came From There And Was Not Scammed. Why? Because I Am Not A Retard! Don't Single Out A Specific Location When There Are Scammers In Every Place In The World. People Who Get Scammed Are Gullible And Ignorant People Who Can't Manage Their Money Due To Their Incompetence. I Had A Great Time At This Hotel And Highly Recommend It.

I'd like to stop these people from scamming people. I want to reach you so we can work on it together, can you send me your email just respond to this comment with it and it come to my youtube inbox. I'm in contact with someone that has all the insight to this racket.
I have plans for a website and a facebook and twitter page. Innocent tourists are being taken advantage of in Ixtapa, by Melia Azul Ixtapa sales people under Robert Madhosingh. Cheers to you.

They also represented being able to go to over 400 Melia in the World using a card called MAS, they sold us something you can have for free, boy we feel very stupid.
Beware of these scammers they get you to go in at the airport, the streets in Ixtapa, they are everywhere. If you have questions about my experience, please email me here. I want to help avoid the pain of having the experience we have had to.
Mexico tourism is sure to suffer from these unethical practices.

When I called the servicing company, in Miami they told we have been taken. Their own company said we had beed cheated not only in the price, but also the closing costs which they over priced to the tune of $1300 over what it normally is $650 dolars.

We were victims of this at the Melia Azul Ixtapa, in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Guerrero Mexico. Robert Madhosingh and Jorge Hernandez sold us a timeshare they claimed is not a timeshare for the Melia Azul Ixtapa. Many dolars in damages over $11,000 for a timeshare that sold at list for $9,050 they over priced it. I thought I was getting a good deal when they showed me list list price of $14,900, and reduced it to $11,000 saying it was a trade in they had to resell, it was too good to be true.

What Mexico Travelers have to watch out for is unscupulous sellers of timeshare (by Canadians and American salespeople) in beach resorts. Mexico has a big problem with this unregulated industry where they promise everything from timeshare buyback, unit rentals, selling of weeks and discounts.
