scary.... haunting... creepy

flawless in scape and profound in gravity and beauty......

It is simple: one of the finest pieces of video game music ever created.

@davedetrick Yeah your there walking enjoying the music and stone statues attack u and clouds of mist and man eating plants. This music really sooths the area so well

Soothing... as if to make you forget you're in danger.
Yet it's suspicious... you're watching your back, and keeping an eye on what's above you.
In this place, it's not just the ghosts you're looking out for. The Fauna is also out to get you.

@EverDownward the soundtrack was beautiful this song included. Albeit a nice detour, so to speak, that was horribly put. Reviving the past would exactly be a milestone for video game music either. On the contrary i think this whole ost still held its own. If anything reading that came across more biased on the modern take of the series.

given the environment the music plays in, it does have a certain aesthetic quality to it. fits the mood so well.

looks cool man awsome
Ahhh....and here is where Michiru created something that reminds me of the old days. This stands out amongst the Castlevania tunes that she has been cranking out (it feels that way, no longer making art with her instruments, but simply "music"); a gem in the rough of bland and otherwise dull songs throughout the current and next gen consoles.
On a seperate note, another reason I love this song is for it's resemblance to "Lost Painting" from Symphony of the Night.

I could listen to this while driving. A cloudy, moonlit night on the highway. With flashes of lightning in the distance.
