This is a simple modification that I made to my prized MACE pepper gun. I added a high-powered LED and laser for Extreme! tactical coolness.

  • I'm blocking the comments because people don't seem to understand that this is a joke. I really like the Mace pepper gun, and I hope that in the future they will add a laser and/or a brighter light to the unit. In the meantime, I will have to settle for the Extreme! Tactical Edition.

  • just buy a gun, you don't need to blind with a light.

    I can blind a person fine with a 9mm.

  • See above. That's kind of obvious.

  • When you're a family man, you don't want to risk getting sent to a hospital because you "gotta be a man". Being a "man" is great food for hungry macho egos, but it carries the risk of having your kids see you in a hospital bed, or worse, visiting you at the cemetery. Instead of being a "man", it's better to be smart.

  • will it work with someone who likes to stare at the sun and what s they have sun glasses

  • That's an awesome idea aracefan2001.. I think I will modify mine too. :) I have a couple of the pink models left in stock if you know any women that may be interested. I will let them go for $45 each including shipping.

  • Nobody is arguing that pepper spray would be effective against someone carrying a gun. If you have a concealed carry permit, then by all means, carry a gun.

  • Thank you fro bringing that up. I think it's an interesting point. However, even if the attacker turns his head, as long as you are able to hit his head or face, the pepper spray will still affect his eyes. My understanding of it, is that the OC substance is rather volatile. So even if you don't get it directly in the eyes, it will still affect the eyes. The vapors will also be inhaled irritating the throat and lungs. No, I haven't tried it on myself! Still looking for volunteers!

  • i have made one of these before... its great!!

I use a compact water gun for my other pocket....

    COOLNESS!

  • @aracefan2001 What do you think about the comment that the bright light will make the attacker cover his eyes or look the other way, making this harder now to hit his eyes with the pepper spray. I think he has a point. Also have you tested the pepper spray for heat or stinging anywhere on your skin?

  • If the attacker has a gun, and you pull out that pepper gun, well you can figure out the results.
