  • Man I wonder why foreigners who come to India show only stinking backward places like these.....we have loads of shopping malls too here FYI, We're gonna have Walmart here soon too!

  • FYI I don't view this as backward, I see it is beautiful. I did not travel all the way to India to see a Walmart, I went precisely to get away from Walmart. Please try to understand that just as you disdain the "backward" scenes you see every day and admire Walmart, many Americans like myself disdain Walmart and find great beauty in the daily scenes which you find so ordinary and even backward.

  • hmmm im from US, i love india. i think i wanna be there. i dont find this offensive, i find it wonderful. here in US so lonely.

  • @bushangels, sorry bout the delayed response but jus came back to this vid. today. Well, reg. ur suggestion on making India better, it seems that living where u are, ur not aware of the fact that India IS being made better as I speak! Forget Walmart, thre's indeed a lot better to the "real-life of most Indians" than crowded narrow dusty lanes with "open-air" markets rubbing shoulders with slums/squatters with cattle as co-passersby, thank u! Maybe its been too long since uve been in India last.

  • @firedup643, reality hurts, doesn't it? ppl posts lots of videos like this on youtube because this is the real life of most Indians. That is what torism all about. Why do we want shoot the Walmart in Mumbai while we already have too many in the states? And by the way, if you think the video shows the bad 'dirty' side of India, then face the fact and try to make it better.

  • Apologies for misunderstanding ur intention of posting this video. And its not tat I'm an ardent walmart admirer either, jus gave tat as an example to point out tat India is not all open-air markets in narrow lanes with cramped little stalls or makeshift pavement vendors selling 2nd rate "budget" items. Never mind Walmart, even the local shopping areas & department stores in Mumbai (or even smaller cities) r way better off than markets like these.

  • Short & fun! - These little clips of yours really catch the flavor of the places. tdub1941
