  • Ouch! This horse is way too young to do that ! For having bought one last year, I know friesian horses have a big heart and want to please their rider but doing such a movement a that age, I doubt it could do any good. They're late growers and he may not show it or feel it now but he's gonna have problems later.

I appreciate though the softness of the bit (many people tend to use bits with stronger action on friesian horses...)

  • this horse is far too young to do the passage!!!!!

  • oh yes this is abuse.....just like racing.....show jumping.....and all the other horse sports.... its all abuse...why? because you have to teach them how... -_-

On to a lighter note nice vid :)

  • Why people complain about this video? This is an amazing horse. Don't worry this is not your horse, you can waite 10 years if you like to ride yours, just let people be please. The horse to me is not being abused at all the horse is 3 1/2 which is good for all horses to ride, the horse's piaffe is good for a 3 1/2 but don't forget that frisians have lots of movement. Another thing, if you pay attention the rider looks like he weights 140 lbs perfect for a 1500lbs horse, stop commenting bad!

  • Waaaaaay to young to start ride like that! :O

  • I really doubt this Friesian is 3 1/2 years old, his size and build indicates a much older horse not to mention this movement takes several years to teach a horse

  • I dislike this video times 10. As already mentionned this horse is much too young to be doing grand prix mouvements.

  • @Bleck167 it's called dressage you have to signal the horse to do things with your leg they can't just sit in one fixed position all the time

  • that looks like it would hurt it's hooves. And danqq he looks tal 17hh+?

  • Geesh! I don't even start mine under saddle until 4 years old. I drive them in harness from 2-4 so they can mature more physically.

  • Way to not have your heels down man
