I just got it. I'm about four hours in (not far AT ALL) and I have to say after hearing so many amazing things about the game I'm greatly disappointed. However I'm not very far into the game so I'll have to play it a bit more before I can truly judge.

@The1337Chronicles i mean completing the game 22 times is a lot :P why so much, back when the game came out i totally liked it , i played it alone and also with friend , i mean by , i get sick of it , because its boring now , i mean i know every secret of that game , its now annoying in my head, , always hearing the same speech over and over again and hearing the same lines again... when i first played it i said ok , around 5 times clearing the game it was enough....

I got this in 2004?? When it was released. Now 7 years have passed and im 18 now. This is still my favourite game and I love to play it trought over and over again, the replay value is huge!

I actually thought the game wasn't that great. But there is something to be said about nostalgia. I played this game in high school when I didn't have that many responsibilities. It really wasn't THAT long ago, but it feels like its been forever. I still play it when I'm stressed out and I need to feel like a kid again. In my opinion, games are meant to be enjoyed, not to be analyzed. So for that, I would give this game a 10 out of 10. :)

Hmm i thought an 8.8 was a somewhat generous score. I played ToS since there was a bit of hype about it back in the day. The combat was fun, but after beating the game, i would of given it a 7.5. Like FF7, ToS is a bit overrated, but was a decent gateway game for those looking to get into RPGs
