I have a 10yr old that was diagnosed at 2. It is hard at times on her but she deals with it everyday and I admire her for it. It was a big change for her but she controls it and doesn't let it control her.
I was sent a site where they were researching a drug called Bacille Calmette-Guérin. This drug has been around for several decades to treat tuberculosis. This Dr. Denise Faustman has been using it in clinical trials for the last year and appears to have some excellent results from it.

What I've heard and read hasn't shown BCG to be an effective preventative or cure, but there is a lot of good research going on and hopefully we'll have a cure sooner, rather than later!
