Because he compete only in the high bar events! He has to compete in more then one event to be able to go to the Olympics

Because he compete only in the high bar. You must compete in all around, or be a winner of medals at the World champions(what he is), but In that case he needed a good team(1-18. place on Wc), but Slovenian gymnastic team is not that good. Slovenia than had only one chance to send on the olympics only one gymnasts without being in all around competition 1-9 place. (this was mitja petkovšek)
