I've always believed that seeing foreign languages used in real life situations is a great help to language acquisition and learning. Not everyone has the chance to travel to a Chinese speaking country or to grow up in a Chinese speaking family, so I made this video... hopefully it contributes in some small way to your Chinese fluency!

I saw a lesson called "Call Your Mother" at ChineseClass101.com and just had to put its vocab to use in a practical way.

Here's the lesson: http://www.chineseclass101.com/2009/05/19/beginner-lesson-20-call-your-mother/

Listen carefully to it, and you should be able to pick up everything that is said in the video!
