The new "Super Group" Chickenfoot rocks out a cover of the Montrose hit 'Bad Motor Scooter' at the Park West in Chicago in front of a raucous capacity crowd. As you would expect, Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Chad Smith and Joe Satriani killed it. A phenomenal quartet to say the least.

  • Saying this sounds like "an average Montrose cover band" just goes to say how little you know about music overall :) Satriani remains a God.

  • Word.

  • Did you manage to tape the whole show?

  • No. My memory card isn't that big. I need to invest in a 16 GB. Then again, it sucks filming and not watching the actual show.

  • How cool it must have been to see these "Legends" so close and personal.

Sammy still is one of the best frontmen in rock! Satriani,Anthony, Smith, what a super group.

  • Need a Les Paul to really get that Original sound!

  • Chad Smith killin it

  • @Penz0r You know, I saw Joe with Eric Johnson on G1 tour. Watched Eric Johnson play White Cliffs to perfection (just like the album with added licks) and his fingers a blur. Joe got on stage with Stu Hamm and Jonathan Mover. There were some people that actually left because he was so bad. I almost left myself. Hamm saved the night with a smoking bass solo..

  • black country communion > chickenfoot. For material and talent

  • I was there. Chad Smith is one violent drummer.

  • @richee10 - Exactly. Thank you. He's a fucking wanker.

  • It would be interesting to see these guys open up for the "new" VH! What an interesting night that would be...

  • an average montrose cover band wat r u talking about this is 10 times better than montrose

  • this is a hundred times better than montrose version amazing

  • Satch, although technically amazing, doesn't quite nail the rock/blues thing.
