Nissan Patrol on 44 inch tires driving on snow

Nissan Patrol '98 on 44 inch tires (44x18,5R15 Dick Cepek) and with GM 6.5 l in the hood, driving on snow. This is taken near Landmannahellir in Iceland. The motor is V8 GM 6,5 l Marine Turbo-Diesel-Intercooler. It's a very nice truck with plenty of power.

It's an automatic transmission from '95 Suburban.

No, it is GM 6,5 l Marine Turbo-Diesel-Intercooler. It is about 270 hp standard.

Do you use standard cv joints with this huge tires ? or custom ones ?(im planning to build about the same but than narrower tires but the same hight
