This is the premier of Quarterlife: An Insight. I thought it was an appropriate title, as when I wrote it, I was nearing the end of my first quarterlife (I was 23). The piece is a large duality, with everything in each movement mirroring something in itself, or the other movement in concept and form. The Lehigh Phil is a mostly student group (though not typically student conducted). This was from the L.U.V.M.E. concert (Lehigh University Very Modern Ensemble), a yearly showcase of student compositions.
