pretty much. its Ms Pinky. its kindof the open source version of what serato and stanton would'nt dare make :P.
It uses Max/MSP so you can do just about anything with the timecode data that you get from the spinning records.
And this is an awesome project. respect.

Indeed but serato is a close second...
-
serato is not the best, vinyl is the best

I agree digital djing with a laptop is easy enough, I think we are good with that. Still a very nice project and who ever has the money and the resources to have this and be a resident dj is pretty lucky. I think pocket sized projectors are coming out soon in japan, so maybe that will make this more of a possibility.

everywhere i have been there is too mutch bass lol so even aligned projectors would be useless and i just dont like this thing
-
Are you sure it's not jesus christs' powers? Lol! Well seeing as I most venues don't just have two perfectly aligned projectors this shit is pretty useless. I thought there was an attachment of some kind that projected the image on the vinyl. Anyway serato is still the best!

real screen on the windows record or tv project from the top
-
um a projector?
-
Ok what is projecting the image on to the vinyl??
Have you used it on a big sound system? Im mean a large club how dose it sound dose it sound like real vynil

As it uses the MsPinky SDK, it sounds exactly like MsPinky or Torq. Not like real vinyl of course, as it's digital.
I won't get into the vinyl vs mp3 discussion.

Yes, you would have two.
One for every turntable.
