For Pet's Sake

For Pets Sake is a non-profit animal welfare organization located in Springdale, Arkansas. Unlike animal shelters, For Pets Sake does not keep its animals in cages. Instead, dogs and cats are placed in foster homes until they are adopted. The organization is partnering with the Springdale Animal Shelter to find foster homes for shelter animals.
The Best Friends Senior Program offered by For Pets Sake looks to aid senior citizens with their pets needs. Through the program, participants are offered financial assistance for vet care and transportation to and from vets and groomers. The Best Friends Program also offers pet food to seniors, as well as pet sitting in cases of hospitalization owners.
In the near future For Pets Sake will develop an educational program for children. The program will inform children of responsible pet care and ownership. For Pets Sake volunteers will visit schools to educate children about the importance of having their pets spayed and neutered and treating animals humanely.
