@EmpressChoklate She haven't said she has created it... We have another version in Spanish (El negro no puede, by Las chicas del Can) that was played in the 80's and this guy (who said in that time he created) tried to make Shakira pay for the rights, and they went to a judgment and people representing Shakira said that the song is from Africa, so she didn't took the song from this guy.

No one says that "Zangalewa" original name or waka-waka is a Shakira's song. She only modified it a bit and used it for the world soccer cup. We got a lot of afro people in Colombia and they 'till fortunatelly keep they traditions anf rithms. I like Shakira, but personally I prefer when this song is perfomed by africans.

Las Chicas del Can sang this song too and many singers too before Shakira, but with a different bites. It was a good choice Shakira sang this song in the FIFA World Cup 2010, that songs have a strong meaning for africans and Colombians too. This song is so beautiful and the letter so powerful that many singers wants to sing. It is so awesome. But I personaly prefer heard the africans sing it. :)
