@AmyDallis Yes, the Romans destroyed it just as Jesus said it would happen. Not one stone would be left on top of the other. He told them He was now the Temple and not to look for their Temple as a salvation as it wasn't going to last. To rebuild the Temple now is going against God.

@TheAmazingamerica Herod's Temple was destroyed in 70 AD by the Roman army. Jesus talked about destroying a temple and in three days he would raise it up again. This same scripture tells us that Jesus was talking about his body (John 2:18-21).
