  • ...and all this time I didn't think Clowns had the ability to speak!

  • @dantheleo LOL i have way more understanding of the constitution than you do!. Seeing how the supreme court are the only ones who gets to decide rather or not a bill is constitutional or un constitutional. And where was these so called 74 constitutional attorneys when President Bush passed the USA partioct act? The supreme court declared it unconstitutional and they still used it.

  • You must be a liberal because you have no understanding of the U.S. Constitution whatsoever! There are 74 constitutional attorneys, as of 1/4/10 poised and ready to challenge the constitutionality of this bill in every states supreme or high court in the United Sates when and if it's signed into legislation. That process will put an end to this issue once and for all!

  • @dantheleo mean they can't do it. It's called Obligated powers, witch doesn't make it unconstitutional.

  • @dantheleo Where do you get your information? Just because the hospital emergency room doors are always open doesn't mean anything. You still can go bankrupt because you don't have health insurance. Under this current bill there is no where were it says that a citizen of the us must buy health insurance. And one more think, just because congress wants to do something that doesn't state it in the constitution doesn't

  • How do you think this bill will affect the poor? They must pay 8 - 12 % of their income for this forced insurance taking that money out of their refrigerators, gas tanks, rent, utilities, ect. If they can't afford insurance now just to live how will they live losing this much income, most of which is under the poverty level now? Nobody is refused medical care in this country, that is the law in all 50 states. The hospital emergency room doors are always open.

  • You are misinformed and confusing state regulation with Federal law, 9 U.S. states do not require auto insurance.

It is in both bills, Senate and Congressional and confirmed by Harry Reid & Nancy Pelosi in numerous interviews! It clearly states that you are required to buy health insurance to be a legal citizen and if you don't comply you will be fined up to $1000 per year or jailed. Does that sound like a free society to you, as the founders intended?

  • @dantheleo Actually all states require you to have insurance and registration. The federal government says we must have a drivers license to be able to drive. And if you don't want health insurance just don't get it. You people can not provide one actual source where the federal government says you must buy health insurance.

  • Everything! First of all you are not forced by the government to buy a car and not all states require that you have auto insurance either. Secondly, the auto insurance regulations are mandated by each state, not the Federal government. The false comparison to auto insurance is that the insurance is to protect the other driver, not the driver who caused the accident. If you read the U.S. Constitution you will clearly see this to be true.

  • @dantheleo It's not unconstitutional. The government makes you get Insurance for your car and if you don't you can go to jail, what makes this different?
