I just saw the same thing happen again today, same spot. This time the truck locks up his brakes.Smoke.Then reverses,half the rig in the brake down lane and half in lane 1.Makes you wonder how many times a day this happens at Mt White? Maybe the RTA should drop their $1000 fines for forgetting to stop at the weight station,before someone gets killed.As one of the others have commented, "At least he knows another truck won't be going up his date, they're all going through the weight bridge!"

Anyone ever missed their turn-off on a long drive? Just go to the next one right? Not if you're a truckie - you miss the weighbridge it will cost you THOUSANDS of dollars.

If you miss the turnoff, despite the well placed advanced signage, then you are to continue. NEVER reverse on a freeway, it's International law, and if your action results in a crash, you will personally face the consequences at law. Like those who do illegal U-Turns across freeway median strips, reversing is just as dumb.

Almost did the same thing northbound at Marulan...realising as you drive past sure puts the fear into ya for that split second. I was lucky I could reverse back a bit anbd go in...the police were drug testing there too.

It only takes a second to think about something else and you can miss it. Most truck drivers are on "autopilot" most of the time, so give him a break, he's not a moron, and thanks HIM for being an experienced driver who is constantly on the lookout for fuckwit car drivers.

Ive driven for this crappy Company.. coordinator tried getting me to go over my hours.. i told him you know the rules n laws right ? he gave me one option.. do it or fuckoff.. so they got there truck back parked up in Melb lol

i withdraw my last comment yes i do know were it is (40 mins from pennant hills rd) He shouldn't have done what he did. RTA need to Enforce CCTV Outside there weigh stations because this is starting to become a problem.

yeah i do its on the F3 Before Mt White its just under 40 mins from the Pennant hills RD Turn off, As for my last response. I didn't see he had the Reverse light on.
