Sonic 2 (Game Gear) Good Ending

Sonic 2 for the Game Gear (and the Master System) is believed to be one of the hardest Sonic games ever. This is somehow true, some of its level are quite hard to beat; this gets even harder if you try to collect all the chaos emeralds (which are hidden in the levels themselves, and not in special stages).
The chaos emeralds play an important role in this game. In fact, if you don't collect 5 emeralds before you challenge Silver Sonic, you will be shown an ending, that is not the actual "good" ending of the game; to get the good ending you have to collect all the emeralds (Silver Sonic will give you the 6th if you have the other 5), in this way you will be granted the access to Crystal Egg zone and (if you beat it) to the real good ending, in which you free Tails from Dr.Robotnik.

There is a Level Select feature if you don't want to play all the game, but you will get the bad ending with that.

The two kinds of ending are actually the same, with the only difference that in the good ending you have Tails following you, and you'll get both the pictures in the sky. Also, in the Game Gear version of the game, the two endings have different music (they share the same music in the Master System version).
