Springboks Century

South Africans love Rugby, it's as simple as that. Springboks are our pride and joy whether they've struggled in the Tri Nations or won the world cup we'll just keep on cheering for them. And if you stop cheering for them you're a dirty Aussie and you know it (*erm.. no offence to the aussies though :P*)

Love the Springboks. I just wish they would leave the politics out of South African rugby. They would be such a rugby force to be reckoned with on the world stage. I have been living in New Zealand for 5 years now. NZ don't see SA as threat anymore as what they were 20 years ago.The politics does not interfere with NZ rugby like SA rugby does which makes the AB's so consistent. Please can the Springboks come onto NZ soil and beat the AB's at least once.Give me some pride back here for the boys.

I agree, our whole structure on how rugby is run in this country is balls up, if we get that sorted out we'll be the springboks of the mid 90s again.

beating the allblacks at home is something which should be happening more often than it is.

Take pride in the fact that your team has kept our team (the AB's) from a clean sweep by beating us once in 2005 and in again in 2006. No other team could manage that. If we have to lose, I'm glad it's to you guys though. Go easy on Jake, he's the man!

jake's not too bad. He's been rather stubborn on selecting certain players who have more than showed what they're capable of, and even though he picked Kabamba I rate Luke Watson over him as an openside flanker.

Anyway, atleast we blooded some youngsters on this end of year tour, and Steyn was a golden find :P

We beat them 21 to 20 at rustenburg last year, the person who made the wiki is full of shit, or just doesn't no shit. :P

At any rate I'm hoping for a better year in 2007, and I'm sure it will be.
