Best GPS Running Watches

Probably the most helpful, informative and decisive product review I have EVER seen. Most definitely will not ever even look at a Garmin again. What was Garmin thinking of??? An electronic device for runners that won't handle sweat or rain? Where was their product testing done??? I ride a bicycle in Puget Sound, when doesn't it rain? Again, thanks for the great product review: no Garmin for me!

I second the notion!

she's hot ;)

great watch, but temperamental? no thanks

Touchscreens simply aren't good for those who sweat (humans) and running in rain. If you're serious enough to have a GPS watch, you'll probably run in rain. GPS watches don't give instant feedback and are less accurate than footpod devices like Polar or Suunto. If you're going to go w/ Garmin, use the old 305 because it's not touch.

Love my new Garmin Forerunner 610. Best model yet, really accurate and love the touchscreen. Got it brand new for $319 and free shipping at harperdiscountstore.ecrater.com.

Check out Suunto T6D. It graphs and monitors your training and loaded with features like Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC) Heart rate, etc. etc.

She has the Forerunner 405. The updated version, Forerunner 410, supposedly solves the "temperamental" bezel issue and can deal with all the elements.

If you actually need to carry a backup that sugests to me that it is not the best thing on the market.
