Isn't it strange how we'll not drill for oil in this country and set-up nuclear powers plants (as obama promised during his campaign) to take care of our needs, yet politicians have every excuse in the world to involve us with dangerous middle-eastern saps? This serves as another reason why we need to take a sludge hammer to this antiquated political system that permits these danger fools to lead us into h*ll and replace them with home computers to carryout the will of the people!

People worship Powell in an odd and over-the-top way. It's like he's Morgan Freeman.
McCain was in Vietnam, and he was tortured. But people don't get weak-kneed over him and think he's a perfect saint, and when the torture's brought up people say he plays the POW card.
I don't like McCain for a lot of reasons, but how come some people dismissed his war record while you're supposed to think Powell's Mother Theresa because of his, and if you don't, you're an evil, evil person?

Colin Powell had a alot of heart to come out and say this. Alot people in the republican party are afraid to go against empty headness and bigtory that is rampant in their party and in many parts of this nation.

Powell was the FIRST person on TV to say that aloud. I've been thinking that the whole time, even when people were suggesting he was muslim during the primaries. Haven't we been told since 9/11 that since because those terrorists were muslim, we shouldn't assume all muslims are bad. I didn't need to be told that, but the media, has been saying that since 9/11. Now all of a sudden, if a talented, brilliant, qualified American runs for President and happens to be a Muslim, then he's evil?

Gen. Colin Powell is a very honorable and couragous man. You dont find a speck of dust/dirt on him. You can try and make up shit if you want to but he fact is,he wasnt down with that bullshit that was going on in The White House under Bush that's why he got the hell out.You havent seen anyone in politics in the last 20 year's who has more credibility the Powell. You can choose to not understand the rightness of what he say's if you want. Like it or not Colin Powell Is The Man.

i am so saddened, disappointed and literally crying about the rampant ignorance in this country. thank you for exposing the truth we know but would rather not admit to at times.
