Xenakis- Nyuyo

A late work by Xenakis, Nyuyo, for three guitars and flute. The piece was originally written for Two Kotos, Sangen and Shakuhachi, but was later transcribed to this more... standard-ish emsemble. The guitars are all tuned microtones apart, obviously. I actually think it's one of his most hypnotic works.

No. The piece is originally for 2 kotos, shakuhachi and sangen. This is verified by wikipedia and iannis-xenakis org. This performance consists of two guitars and flute.

The original orchestration of the piece is what I wrote. Sangen is the same as shamisen.

Woah, this is quite un-Xenakian. It's closer to Takemitsu's idiom. Still, great music.
