@aussiespring1129 You should take into account that we also see a massive exaggeration on behalf of the producers to get a higher viewing rate. They want it to be scandalous. And, second, yes of course, serious obesity is always connected with psychological issues. Check out Bob Harper's (the Biggest Loser coach of the first season) new book on it, or much older research like Susie Orbach's work, if you want to know more about that.

....................im sorry but how can people treat their bodies like this? we wernt made to eat like this. how can they possibly live like this?
this is basically an illness. they have no willpower, no restraint, no control. its revolting. i hope people can realise that this is wrong. we need to be healthy. stay fit.
those people have cut down their life span dramatically. by CHOICE.
