For anyone who's been there, does This seem familiar at all?

( It should be noted that recently andy Jack (QQoQQ) has rejected Creationism and admitted to being wrong.

My respect goes out to Andy, as it takes a big man to admit when they're wrong, and I wish him all the best, and no hard feelings.)

  • Anyone remember the old Monty Python computer game. They had an argument scene. It was very cool.

  • Id say "yes" but Id show my age :S

  • Dude I would have shot myself 10 seconds in and saved myself the Headache and Tylenol side effects.

Is this Monty Python? I'm only asking because Mglosk said name. I've heard of Monty but never saw his stuff.

  • This is Python alright, one of the classics.

Its a great example of the absurd but intelligent humour they loved. And its a scene that really shows the chemistry between Cleese and Palin.

If you've never seen Python bfore and you liked this, keep hunting, their all on youtube.

Welcome to the Best comedy Ever ;P

  • lol ugh. He is difficult. I explain one or two things about where his perception was backwards, and what response do I get? "THAT DOESNT PROOOOVE ANYTHING"

  • ie "I could be arguing in my spare time" ;P

  • You festering tit!

I beg your pardon? I came here for an argument

    Sorry sir, this is 'abuse'

  • @ReliableInsider no it's not!

  • @MethodicalMadness

I've had a few arguments with creationists that didn't turn into this. But not many, and to my surprise those few were rather well-educated and polite as compared to the typical breed. For one, they started by admitting their willingness to consider there might not be a god. That's always a good sign.

  • The moral of the story is:

There is nothing more foolish than trying to get the last word on the Internet.

The more of a fool the other guy is, the harder he's going to try to get the last word.

Say your piece . . . and move on. Life is too precious to be wasted online.

  • This analogy is apt for debating ANY creationist, really.

  • This is Cleese at his best, just like "Flying Lesson" was Chapman at his best :)

  • Hahaha. Quite.

  • What is it about British comedy that is so hilarious? especially Cleese! These folks know how to make me laugh!!! 5stars

  • man it's true..and he lies.
