Flashback weaves together iconographic images sampled from films to create a kinetic video canvas - visualizing the spectrum of human emotion and recall using the principles of cognitive psychology. Perfumes are formulated from distinct notes, each of which represents a particular thought or feeling. They then combine to form a complex fragrance that can vary from individual to individual. Similar to the varying effects a perfume can have on any particular person, Flashback for Six Scents Series Two explores the way an individual might remember thoughts and feelings associated with the experience of each fragrance. • disturbing...but brilliant. i have to watch this over and over again to understand it all

  • well I think each collage of images, is created in such a way that each image is interlinked, even if they are different, they help to portray oone meaning. this happens and innevatable tells a story eg. 1:30 represents bondage in sex, the next slide describes a miracle occuring done so by the lightning strtreaks. then it gets still and the single image of the man diving down... and then someone immerges from below symbolising birth-this notion is supported by upcoming images and then a baby

  • @LouisPae can you explain?

  • absolutely astonishing. did you see the part where the theme was reproduction and then came birth?

  • this is the ideea, to be disturbing:))

  • ok that was somehow disturbing
