At first noctis feel in love with Xion, they loved each other so much, but as the years went past, noctis noticed that they werent the same anymore. Noctis had known Kairi for years but always thought of her as a friend, but he knew this feeling in his heart was not normal, he suddenly realised that he was in love with Kairi. Noctis felt so guilty because, he was going out Xion, and he was also 5 years older then her. He walked towards her but then he saw Kairi with Zack, they had an eye connection and noctis could see that they were in love. The day after he saw that, he decided to end it with Xion, because he didnt want to act like he loved her. That day he couldnt bear it no more, so he faced Kairi and told her how he felt about her... he was over whelmed from what she was hearing, because she always loved him, but she just wanted to hide her feelings from him, by going out with Zack. Kairi was so confused and she had Zack and noctis stuck in her head and she didnt know what to do. She thought that the easiest thing to do was to go to some other place and hide her feelings.
