@webhead84 Glad you got some laughs out of it. I wasn't trying to make a serious social or theological critique; just a light-hearted look at the town. As far as the Klan goes, I've never met any avowed members from LC.

@sosborne i gotcha - i just like poking fun at lc sometimes.. no ofense intended to the artist or persons that contributed - its just funny in a quirky way to me how people idealize a location

@webhead84 Well, LC has its flaws, but every place does. However, I was born and raised there and, like it or not, it helped make me who I am today. For that I am thankful. As a friend of mine aptly put it one time when we were coming home for the weekend from college, "Lake City's not perfect, but I'm glad it's there."

Thank you from an oldie grandma with deep Lake City roots. Just found out this week that a lot of the folks I went to school with in W"inter Haven in the
1950's also have roots in aan around Columbia County.
