lol a *little* weird??

One my question... why does satan try to drag us back under the law? What does it do to use?
-
at first i wanted to learn Hebrew and stuff because you think God is Hebrew so he would love you, but in the end we see God is not ignorant, God knows everything, i Don't even thing we understand what everything is, he knows how to speak to each and everyone.
i have one question, but is the Sabbath not in the 10 CMDNTS* ? i would love if you send me a PM explaining this for me.

@ergotrof How exactly is our love for Israel supposed to be any different than any other people group? We are called to love our enemies, be hospitable to all, consider others higher than ourselves, and to preach the gospel to all nations. Why -- no how -- does Israel get a special status?
It seems to me that the call to "love Israel" is used to make us feel there is no need to preach the Gospel to them or to point out the sin and idolatry in their lives. We should love all people the same.

AMEN AND AMEN

Good Word Brother! All backed up with The Word

@ergotrof I am not trying to be argumentative but I am trying to call out leagalistic unhealthy behaviour which has zero eternal profit. Peace, I hope this is received in the spirit in which it is sent.

@ergotrof its a nice thought...but its not Biblical. I get that God made Israel jealous by offering salvation to the gentiles, but that has nothing to do with "pretending to be Jewish" I get that its a nice thought...but thats EXACTLY my point...it is a though from man wich makes it a "a different doctrine" Jesus never said in His Word fro gentiles to pretend to be Jewish after being saved....He said the opposite in Gal3:28 "there is no longer Jew or Greek but all are one in Christ"
Some people may choose not to spell the name G-d on paper etc out of fear and respect.
Others may spell God because they see no problem with it.
As believers we do have our own convictions and not all are exactly the same.
Good message bro..
We cant earn our salvation.. Jesus did it ,, not us.

@RedSmoky My point is ...God point is ....we can now BOLDLY appraoch the throne of Grace-we can write GOD on a piece of paper...its legalism and strange bondage that doesnt make The Lord any more pleased with us and certainly doesnt make Him love us more....we are free in Christ. We are made holy and righteous when we are born again, there is nothing we can add to that. Its just "more law: and it isnt from God its from the evil one...as much as they wont like to hear this...its true:( peacebro

Folks in Wisconsin seem to have no problem using the word 'beautiful' (french), or
'La Crosse' (french). It's not silly to use the Hebrew name of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. What IS silly is saying 'unless you DO use the Hebrew, you won't 'know' Him'. It's not silly to observe the Sabbath (friday sundown to sat sundown) what might be silly is to say 'you'll go to HELL if you keep the 4th commandment'. What might be silly is to call someone silly aka a fool, who condemns you not.

@anyusmoon1 I spoke up because I have continually seen a misunderstanding of Grace and a strange desire to be "under the law" and I think its unhealthy for the body of Christ. As we see in 1 Timothy it leads to vain discussions and endless geneology and I think that is what it is. Sorry you see it diifererently, after continual comments and PM I felt lead to say something. i am not doing this to be a hammer but because I feel like I should. I know it will be unpoplular, but I think its needed
