Sr. Betty Gits, from the Sisters of St. Joseph, St. Paul Province, is a long-time Twins fan and has the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the May 28th, 2009 game. She decided she should practice her pitching beforehand. Since she has no baseball and mitt of her own, Sr. Betty decided that on orange would make a good substitute. It would be her ball during practice and her snack after! Come see Sr. Betty throw out the first pitch at the May 28th Twins game!
