  • Amazing!One of Britten's best works...who is the conductor?Thanks for posting.

  • @alexander1998100 The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra is a conductor-less ensemble.

  • I am curious about this painting. Do you know who did it or where you found it?

    Thank you

    Peace to you

  • @12JAMOCK21 The painting is "Violin and Guitar" by the Cubist artist Juan Gris. If you search for it on Google Images, you'll find dozens of files.

  • I've played it with our orchestra too.. the feeling.. I just couldn't find the words for it....it was very emotive for me... it makes me wanna cry and smile at the same time .. love it, it brings peace to me in hard times :)))

  • Love this song, we're playing it in chamber orchestra. I'm a violist so I'm totally picking out my part and going like, "ohhh!!! I can play this!!!" this song is great, it's so moving. Such a gorgeous melody and how it just flows. I really love this song. -3

  • Played this as first violin in high school chamber ensemble. Everybody, including the hardcore guys, cried after we played this movement.
