@Jade12568 You are very fortunate to have had him for so long. He very well might have had a record lifespan. They are great dogs.

It's so weird to think of getting a pet flown in! I can't imagine getting a puppy that I haven't seen yet. How does the procedure work?

@JohnRhysMusician Yup 15, I know its Biblical. But its the truth. I like to think its because I fed him all fresh food( I cooked for him) and the other animals. His snacks were apples and carrots. I would take him to swim year round at least once a week, in whatever I could find , lake , river ( he did not like the ocean). And we all hiked every day for 2 hours minimum from the time he was 12 weeks. Maybe that helped, don't know really.

@grunzy It is funny I was thinking that if you were to get back to me, I would ask you for the name of your breeder, and thier location. I am definately interested in another Newfy down the line, and I so admired your little guys temperment.
I wish you all the very best of times with your guy, and only hope that you do have all the wonderful years I had with my Odie aka Odin.
Please let me know at your convience. Thank you,Jade

What a sweet disposition. Brand new , in a new environment and his little tail is just waggin away.
Thank for the memories , my Newfy passed one year ago at 15 years old.
He is still missed.
