The Animator Regenerates - a Doctor Who regeneration

A Time Lord - let's call him The Animator - is mortally wounded and regenerates.

Just something I did for uni (Autodesk combustion with 2d particles, lots of morphing and stuff). A Doctor Who style-regeneration.

I've got no time to do a full tutorial for the effect, but my good friend Tom Ellingsen has done an After Effects tutorial for something similar, check it out.

Not bad, would have liked to see facial changes and it was a bit brief but the sounds and the way it was edited together worked crazy well, and it's certainly better than I could have done (Is no good at SFX)

He just filmed the way it happened in real life.  Set a camera up to record it and that was it.

Best one I've seen yet. (: Mainly because the golden glow looks really nice. A lot of people use half-assed glows and it's like, WOW that was bad.
