Check out "bordergirlsmom" channel for more information on the weave pole challenge. It is really awesome because it is a gradual process of working a variety of entries, rear crosses, running with the dog, sending the dog, recalls through the weaves, and adding distractions.

If you are wanting to compete with your dog or you just want to have a well trained agility dog, then you should check it out and give it a go! :)

Have a great day with your dog!

  • Very nice ! But can you have someone throwing the toys as your dog is going through the weaves ?

    Probably , lololol.

    Again , great job !

  • @myhbpoos No actually not yet with this dog. He just turned 14 months and has only just learned to weave. So, this is as far as we have gotten. My other Border Collie can weave around pretty much any distraction, but not my puppy. Thanks for the comment! We will keep working on those weaves! :)

  • woo hooo hoooo!!!! that was awesome

  • @kikopup Thanks Emily! You are so sweet for watching my videos! Now get out and go have FUN with your dogs and Martina!!! :)

  • Pamela, have you seen teacup agility? I have not done agility before but would love to do teacup agility with my Chihuahuas as a fundraiser for our rescue group. Can you recommend a DVD that would get me started on teaching my dogs agility? There are not any agility clubs where I live.

  • @chiluv100 I have been working on my Agility Foundation DVD but it will not be ready until maybe Jan. 2012. The DVD's that I like are the In Focus series (foundation work, beginning obstacle skills are both good) and Foundation Training for Agility by Moe Strenfel. You can find them on the Clean Run website. :) Good luck! I have never seen a teacup trial, but have heard of them. :) Take care! Pam

  • @britterbug84 I have a PC also and Windows Movie makes does not do all the great things imovie can. Pamela does such a fantastic job on her videos. Microsoft is way behind on Mac on this one. So disappointing!

  • @britterbug84 Have you tried movie maker on your PC. My husband likes that one. :)

  • Darn, I have a PC.

  • @britterbug1984 Thank you! He is really picking it up quickly. Unlike the Dog WALK, ARG! That is another story. hehe! We will get there. BTW, I use imovie to edit video. It is so easy. If you have a mac, you should have it on your computer already. :) Have a great day! Pam
