Labbaik Allahumma Labaik - Umra Memories 2009 - Mountains of Makkah

A sincere dua as I was travelling in my car & next thing I knew the hubby surprised us with a trip to the house of Allah SWT.....7 days in Makkah & Medina & some lovely memories - Allah SWT honoured us by inviting us & there is not a better host than Allah .....It was such an imaan boost....the feeling of being there is undescribable ......the heart is yearning to go again....May Allah SWT bless us all with that opportunity Ameen

The proper name is Makkah for the House of Allah swt used basically for worshipping Him!

The name Mecca used for gambling instituted, though it may be somewhat similar in sound but is in fact a derogatory term used by the non-believers!

Moreover, the Masjid, more popularly known as mosque, is another example, which actually refers to the flying insect mosquitoes, rather than the place of worship for Muslims!

I went first week of April....It was ABSOLUTELY wonderful....didn't want to come back!!
