Practicing on each other. This particular one broke at the tube during the D/C and the metal was stuck in my sternum for a couple months before it was removed.

  • I'm a medic in the Army, and i have never seen it actually done in a training enviroment

  • They are practicing for the day when they will need this skill. I used more than a few of these devices for troops and civilians caught in IED blasts where all the limbs were mangled. They work!

  • or is for no trained in medical prodedures, as a soldier and you need a rapid method to cristaloids infussion
