Sonic Hacks: Knuckles in Sonic 1

This hack, as the title suggests, allows you to play as Knuckles in Sonic 1, for the first time ever. This hack includes gliding, climbing, and spindashing. Knuckles' color was changed a slight bit so it doesn't interfere with the palette.

It turns out there are 2 different versions of the hack. In the first one Knuckles is slightly darker, and in the second one he's pink (like in the video). The second one is more recent, and contains bugfixes as well as a hidden cheat.

I've read that the designers did originally plan to have the sonic and knuckles cartridge to play with sonic 1. what i read said that the original didn't have the right color pallettes, so including him would have messed up the color graphics or something like that.

The Cartridge In Sonic&Knuckles Is A Special Cartridge That U Were Able To Transfer Knuckles To Sonic 1 And 2 So It's Not Really A Hack
